GENERAL ELECTRIC TO CLOSE ROBOT INTEGRATION PLANT IN FLORIDA

General Electric says it is closing its Plymouth, Florida robot integration plant and getting out of the robot controller business: 118 people at the plant will lose their jobs; the unit integrated GE’s own controllers with Japanese robots.
