General Automation Inc – the Irvine, California company that bought Sequoia Systems Inc’s fault-tolerant systems business only last week, yesterday announced the acquisition of Liberty Integration Software. Liberty is a Vancouver, British Columbia developer of software products that enable interoperability of MultiValue-compliant databases with Windows and Windows NT environments. Liberty will continue to operate in Vancouver as a subsidiary of General Automation and retain its name, which is synonymous with Open DataBase Connectivity. Terms were not disclosed.
