GEC Plc, brought in by the French government as a friendly longterm 5% shareholder in Matra SA when the company was privatised, is talking to Matra about collaborations – not in telecommunications, where Racal Electronics and Plessey Co have links with Matra through Orbitel, but in missiles and spacecraft, says the Financial Times.
