GEC OBJECTIONS TO BARCLAY BANK’S INVOLVEMENT IN METSUNK

Apropos GEC Plc’s rather pompous objections to Barclays Bank’s involvement in Metsunk – GEC has now reported Barclays to the Bank of England on the grounds that since it spreads its business fairly among the Big Four clearers, it thinks it wrong that one of the four should take sides against it – the Daily Telegraph City diary reveals that a senior member at Barclays has redrafted the angry GEC letter thus: Dear Sir, I keep four girls in flats and spend a week with each of them; now I find that one of them is two-timing me.
