As envisaged last June, Siemens AG and GEC Plc put their private communications lines in the UK into a 50-50 joint venture, Siemens GEC Communications Systems Ltd. It takes in GPT Business Systems arm, GPT Communications Systems Ltd and Siemens Business Communication Systems Ltd.
