According to Insurance Systems (ISI), GCAN Insurance deployed its WebWriter Enterprise for GCAN’s professional errors and omissions (E&O) line of business. Professional E&O is the first line of GCAN’s portfolio to implement the solution. Additional lines are also planned to be deployed with this solution later.

WebWriter Enterprise is a browser-based property and casualty policy administration suite. It features modules that enable insurance companies to run all aspects of businesses efficiently, including core processing functions like policy administration, claims, billing, accounting and reinsurance.

In addition, the solution also features various supporting sub-systems which includes rating, document production, CRM, workflow and reporting.

David Hanley, vice president of business development and operations at ISI, said: “Automation of their manual processes in WebWriter Enterprise will allow them to increase efficiencies and provide even more responsive service while keeping expense ratios at a minimum.”
