GCA TO BE ACQUIRED BY UNIDENTIFIED COMPANY

Semiconductor capital equipment maker GCA Corp, Andover, Massachusetts, says that it is in talks with an unidentified publicly quoted company that has offered to acquire it for $5 a share, $47.5m all told.
