GANDALF SELLS CASE STAKE, WALKS AWAY FROM BID

By CBR Staff Writer

It took Gandalf Technologies Inc less than 24 hours to decide that it had been bested by Dowty Group’s agreed UKP82m bid for Case Group Plc and to take profits on its 9.51% holding in the Watford company. It sold the 6.09m shares to Dowty and to Lazard Brothers for 123 pence a time, UKP7.49m, giving it a very satisfactory profit on the adventure.
