FYI Visual’s patented visualization engine works by structuring complex data into thousands of data points organized as a series of color-coded symbols on screen. Users can intuitively read the color and graphical symbol patterns to gain insights into business and quickly identify anomalies.
FYI was originally founded as Identitech Inc in 1987 to develop document management software and later started work on its data visualization tools. Since February 2004 the company has focused exclusively on data visualization after selling its other software assets to eiStream Inc.
