Fujitsu Microelectronics Inc said that it will use its Graphics Products business unit to develop high performance graphics boards for the personal computer market. It has already released the first product in the area – the Sapphire 2SX – a personal computer graphics board that’s built around 3D Labs Inc’s Glint processor. The 32-bit board enables personal computer users to produce photo-realistically-rendered images. Fujitsu said it now planned to expand the range with further boards for both high end and mainstream applications.
