FUJITSU TO OPEN TELECOM RESEARCH BASE IN TEXAS

Fujitsu Ltd is to establish a research and development facility in Richardson, Texas on land that it bought there last year. The centre will concentrate on developing communications equipment such as network-related multiplexers, switches, optical transmitters and microwave receivers. It will collaborate with similar ones in Japan.
