Fujitsu Ltd plans to increase the capitalisation of its Fujitsu Networks Industry Inc US subsidiary to $15m from the current $8m, the extra funds being used to develop software for use in telecommunication systems; the company looks for annual sales of $90m by 1995; Fujitsu will increase assembly of 4M-bit dynamic memory chips at its Fujitsu Microelectronics Ltd here in the UK to 1.5m chips a month by end-March 1993 from 500,000 a month now; it may also assemble 16Ms; the company reached capacity 3.5m 1M-bit parts a month – at its Gresham, Oregon plant at the end of 1991.
