FUJITSU TO BACK WIN CE 3.0 WITH COMPLETE PRODUCT RANGE

By CBR Staff Writer

Fujitsu Limited has announced that it will introduce a range of handheld PCs supporting Windows CE, Handheld PC Professional Edition version 3.0, the latest version of Microsoft’s operating system for PDAs. The new product line will be based on Fujitsu’s existing INTERTop PDA that has been available in Japan since 1997. The features promised include large, VGA resolution screens; pen and keyboard input; and tablet and clamshell configurations. Fujitsu said that the complete range will target a broad, worldwide market, but said nothing about dates of availability or price.
