Fujitsu Microsystems of America Inc in San Jose is still gamely Pick-popping, and a few weeks back introduced three additional multi-user business computers to expand its line of Series 2000 Pick micros, fleshing out the mid-range and low-end of its offerings for the multi-user business computer market. The System 2500 Model 80 uses Motorola’s 68030 microprocessor clocked at 20MHz to support up to 96 users. It is priced beginning at $89,500 and has just become available. The System 2400 Model 60 XP uses a 20MHz 68020 and supports up to 64 users. Prices start at $35,000 and it is also just out. At the bottom of the line, Fujitsu switches horses, and teh System 2100 Model 50 uses the Intel 80386 microprocessor clocked at 16MHz to support up to 10 users. It replaces the System 2000 and System 2020, starts at $12,000 and has been available since August. The top-end machine, announced earlier, can support up to 160 users.
