Fujitsu has released two new products in Japan, the SQL Server Fast Track Data Warehouse Reference Architecture and the SQL Server Trusted Platform License with SupportDesk, both complement Microsoft’s relational database, the SQL Server.
According to Fujitsu, the SQL Server Fast Track Data Warehouse Reference Architecture is a platform-configuration model that optimises the use of terabyte-class data warehouses. It packages with SQL Server Fast Track Data Warehouse and hardware in a configuration that has been performance-tested for Microsoft’s data warehousing. The platform consists of the company’s Primergy x86 servers and Eternus storage systems.
The SQL Server Trusted Platform License with SupportDesk bundles SQL Server processor licenses, software assurance and support services. It includes a 24×7 support program in Japan to ensure stable operations. Fujitsu also plans to offer additional offerings that help customers deploy and benefit from SQL Server in their business systems.
The Fujitsu SQL Server Fast Track Data Warehouse Reference Architecture price starts from JPY9.47m and SQL Server Trusted Platform License with SupportDesk price starts from JPY0.79m for standard edition and JPY3.3m for enterprise edition.
