FUJITSU HAS NEW DEALING COMMUNICATIONS BOARD

Fujitsu Ltd has a new a dealing communications board, the Fetex-9120 series, for use in the dealing rooms of banks and securities houses: the 9120 series features a compact operation panel with a touch screen, which supposedly reduces the response time for a call to 0.2 seconds, as well as offering various one-touch dial and memory functions, so that the baords can be customised for each user; the system is $16,100 for a Fetex-9125 system with 25 operator panels and 65 line capacity, and $12,250 for a Fetex-9123 model with 10 panels and a maximum of 30 lines; Fujitsu has 28% of the Japanese electronic PABX market, compared to leader NEC’s 30%.
