Fujitsu Ltd has also established two new wholly-owned subsidiaries, Fujitsu Information Network Systems Ltd, and Fujitsu Kobe Systems Ltd, the former being dedicated to the development and marking of application packages for communications networks such as ISDN, the COMS Corporate network Management System, the CPNS Communication Processing Node System and TCSI Telecommunication & Computer Service Interface; it will start out with 40 people, growing to 220 by 1992; the other company is a spin-off of Fujitsu’s Western Japan systems engineering branch, and will start with 60 people, building a business supporting Fujitsu customers in the manufacturing, financial and distribution industries as well as developing user applications.
