FUJITSU ESPANA ADOPTS OPEN ARCHITECTURE PICK FOR 386 RANGE

By CBR Staff Writer

Fujitsu Espana SA has adopted Open Architecture Pick for its 80386SX, 80386 and 80486 machines: Pick Open Architecture offers enhanced efficiency in dynamic allocation of work areas and shared use of the work disk with MS-DOS, and includes 16 process levels, collective safeguards and asynchronous communication utilities for terminal emulations and file transfer; Fujitsu has also incorporated specific device drivers to make maximum use of Fujitsu hardware; Fujitsu reckons the 80386SX machines will support three users, the 20MHz 80386 will handle 19, the 33MHz version 27 users, and up to 35 on the 80486; Spanish company RedMaster SA will run a string of Fujitsu resellers.
