Fujitsu Business Communication Systems in Anaheim, California is positively busting with the news that Union Pacific Railroad will modernize its US-wide communications network with Fujitsu F9600 PABXs bought at an initial cost of $3.3m: F9600s will be installed at the railroad’s Omaha, Nebraska facilities, where they will be used to consolidate the company’s train dispatch centres, modernise its telemarketing centre and support headquarters operations; other F9600s will be installed at Union Pacific’s Overnite Transportation Co trucking division headquarters, Richmond, Virginia and its St Louis division headquarters – and F9600s are already running at main headquarters in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and at its Los Angeles offices.
