FUJITSU AND SHARP SETTLE WITH TEXAS INSTRUMENTS – PRESSURE ON OTHERS TO FOLLOW SUIT

Now that Fujitsu Ltd and Sharp Corp have broken ranks and settled with Texas Instruments on its patent infringement suit against eight Japanese and Korean dynamic memory chip manufacturers, pressure is on the others to settle too – which could mean that Texas ends up getting a tiny royalty on every dynamic RAM sold anywhere in the world.
