Fujitsu Semiconductor Asia has released MB95560 Series, a dual channel Flash 8-bit general-purpose microcontroller, for use in a range of small electrical appliances, digital electronic products, chargers, PC products, electric tools, and remote control products.
Totally pin-to-pin compatible with MB95260 Series, the new series includes 12 20-pin products from the MB95560 Series with built-in LIN-UART, six 16-pin products from the MB95580 Series, and six 8-pin products from MB95570 Series.
Fujitsu claims the MB95560 Series products achieve low power consumption in the industry.
The products, which are based on ‘F2MC-New8FX Family’, apply dual channel Flash technology to operate on the Flash while performing read/write operation on another Flash channel, thereby protecting important data of customers.
They also feature 180 nm technology to realize a higher degree of integration with a number of versatile timers, high resolution A/D converter, oscillation circuit, low-voltage detection circuit and LIN-UART circuit.
All products of MB95260 Series use 1-line on-chip debug function, which enables customers to debug with only a minimal number of pins during product development.
New product samples will be available from August 2011 and product shipment will be commenced in October 2011.
