Fujitsu and Fujitsu Mission Critical Systems have introduced a new testing service ‘Fujet’ to offer a level of visibility for system quality readily comprehensible to both IT department staff and management.

The Fujet service primarily targets system-architecture testing processes.

Under this service, all work involved in quality system testing, including designing and implementing tests, analyzing test results, and validating system quality, is conducted on the customer’s behalf.

In addition to helping customers build high-reliability systems, archived test analyses results can be recalled when updating systems to help support continuous improvement in system quality.

Fujet comprises offerings such as operational quality testing; operational platform quality testing; program quality testing; and system quality lifecycle management (SQLCM).

Operational quality testing involves analyzing the customer’s business operations, determining test factors, and organizing them into a matrix-formatted table and checklist.

The offering includes the following menu of service items – design of operational test factors, design of screen-design test factors and automated test implementation.

In operational platform quality testing, tests are conducted to assess system quality based on system requirements relating to the ‘non-functional’ aspects of reliability, operability, and performance.

This includes – reliability diagnostics, load testing and security diagnostics.

In program quality testing, source-code testing and vulnerability checking are conducted statically, covering coding protocols and coding defects from the software-development stage as a basic test of software quality.

In SQLCM, test results are organized and made visible and risk evaluation of the system is then conducted, along with an analysis and evaluation of the quality status.

The service can also analyze the impact that operational reforms have on systems, enabling system quality lifecycle management, in which system quality is continuously improved.
