Fujitsu has won a new seven-year contract from Shell for future IT deployment and support services for its service stations across 19 countries.
Under the terms of agreement, Fujitsu will provide IT support for Shell’s forecourt controllers, point of sale, payment card machines and back office systems.
The company will also be responsible for the roll-out and deployment of new site systems for Shell and the support of 19 countries will be served by its three service centres based in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Shell general manager if retail site systems David Moss said that Fujitsu will deploy and maintain updated IT which will provide the company’s customers with an enhanced experience when visiting its service stations.
