FTP Software Inc has launched Secure Client v3.0 for Windows95 – desktop network management software. It includes FTP Software’s 32-bit IP Internet Protocol communications stack and security features; advanced diagnostic and management utilities; and support for the company’s planned Java-based automated management applications. Secure Client v3.0 offers advanced IP communications as well as client implementations of IPv6 and WinSock 2.0. It also supports emerging IP standards such as IP Multicasting, says the company. Secure Client v3.0 also supports point-to-point and point-to-firewall security for both packet data and IP information through compliance with the IPSECurity standard. Secure Client v3.0 also offers seamless integration with the IPSECurity standard. Additionally, Secure Client v3.0 offers secure dial-in connections. The release is part of the company’s VIP Network architecture strategy. Secure Client v3.0 costs $300 per copy and $95 for a single migration copy.
