Franklin Telecommunications Corp, based in Westlake Village, California, has formalised its evolving moves to forge a strategic relationship with Gandalf Technologies Inc, Ottawa, Ontario: the new pact has an estimated total value of $12m to Franklin over the next three years and provides Gandalf exclusive marketing and distribution rights to Franklin data communications products in Canada, the UK and the Netherlands: Gandalf has invested $1.5m for a 7.5% stake in Franklin Telecom, and Franklin will also provide specialised engineering services to Gandalf over the next six months under a $500,000 reseach and development contract.
