FOX RESEARCH MAY ESTABLISH PLANT IN CHINA

By CBR Staff Writer

Fox Research Inc president Greg Goodall is so excited about the installation of the first two local area networks ever implemented by the People’s Republic of China that the Dayton, Ohio company is thinking of establishing a plant there, according to Microbytes Daily: 25-node networks have been installed at Peking University and at the State Planning Commission, each supporting a mix of IBM Personals and China’s own Great Wall machine, and including an SNA gateway to the University’s IBM 4300 mainframe.
