FOUNDER AND CHEIF EXECUTIVE STEPS DOWN AT COMPUADD

Bill Hayden, founder of CompuAdd Computer Corp is stepping down as chief executive but will retain a 20% stake in the closely held maker of mail order personal computers: the company emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy after Hayden put up $8.1m of his own money and agreed to transfer 75% of the Austin, Texas company to unsecured creditors.
