Foundary Networks Inc is to build and sell high-speed data networking equipment that will contain VLSI Technology Inc’s Gigabit Ethernet Media Access Controller chip. Foundary is backing the Gigabit Ethernet technology which it believes will take Ethernet technology into the next century.
