Application development operation, Forte Software Inc has established its fourth European subsidiary in Brussels, Belgium. The new operation forms part of the Oakland, California-based company’s continuing international expansion plans. The subsidiary will serve the Benelux region of Europe, encompassing Belgium and Luxembourg with sales and marketing support. A team of sales and technical staff will be employed initially, before more broad-stream recruitment gets under way. The company that reported third quarter net losses of $6.3m from a profit of $2.5m on revenue down 1.3% at $17.6m while nine-month net losses were $11.5m from a profit $4.3m on revenue which declined by 12.2% at $43.5m (CI No 3,333).
