FORMER SPERRY CHAIRMAN DIES

Former Sperry Corp chairman Gerald Probst, 65, who turned the company from a diversified electronic, engineering and farm equipment business into a pure information technology play and then led it into merger with Burroughs Corp to create Unisys Corp, died in his sleep at his home in Salt Lake City, Sunday.
