That theft of supercomputer design information from Saxpy Computer Corp, Sunnyvale (CI No 796) turns out to be rather more serious than at first appeared: former Saxpy software engineer Ivan-Pierre Batinic, his brother, and a Fremont software designer are charged with conspiring to sell the Saxpy designs to an advisor to Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev for $4m.
