Ex-Adobe CIO Gerri Martin-Flickinger is stepping into the role of chief technology officer at Starbucks, effective November 2.
In the newly created role, Martin-Flickinger will lead the global IT function and play a leading role in shaping the technology agenda across the Starbucks business.
Serving as a member of the company’s senior leadership team, she will report to Starbucks president and chief operating officer Kevin Johnson.
At Adobe, where she was a senior vice president in addition to CIO, she oversaw Adobe’s transformation to a cloud-based business and was responsible for Adobe’s global Information Technology team.
Before Adobe, Martin-Flickinger was CIO of VeriSign and, prior to this, served as CIO for Network Associates and McAfee Associates.
