Following IBM’s example, DEC has embraced ISDN and all product opportunites that flow from it, and announced ISDNrouter 100, aimed at the ISDN 2 market: ISDNrouter 100 is for routing to remote DECnet systems and local area nets connected to them – as well as using ISDN facilities such as relatively cheap digital transmission, DEC says that the router provides a system for ISDN application development; prices start from UKP12,500.
