Fluke Networks has unveiled a new version of its Network Time Machine that provides both identification of network versus server problems and root cause analysis of network and application problems.

The version 8 incorporates Fluke’s proprietary visual fault domain isolation technology that graphically identifies the area of problem, while continuing to provide 100% stream-to-disk capabilities with deep packet inspection at rates greater than 10 Gbps.

The all-in-one, plug-and-play appliance features user-configurable dashboards that automatically identify and display key performance metrics with instant drill-down capability into root cause analysis.

Fluke Networks vice president of enterprise network analysis Gary Ger said version 8 takes their Network Time Machine platform’s performance to the next level not only by answering this question in a fraction of the time, but by doing so in the form of a single, simple appliance that does not require multiple servers, complex deployment scenarios and continuous configuration and maintenance.

Network Time Machine is a high-performance appliance for critical link analysis, storage for data forensics and back-in-time troubleshooting.

It includes ClearSight Analyzer with application-centric analysis; QoS metrics, statistics and trending charts of application; and real-time Video/Voice over IP metrics and troubleshooting; with portable and rack mount versions.
