Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Telematics International Inc has launched two Access Communication Processor models, ACP 40 and ACP 50; ACP 50 is available in a 80286 or 80386 version, the ACP 50/286 supports up to 12 high-speed synchronous ports and 32 asynchronous ports, the 80386 supports up to 16 high-speed synchronous ports or up to eight high-speed ports and 32 asynchronous ports; both models can be used within a Telematics SmartNet NET25 data network and also function as multi-protocol pads, X25 connectors and packet switching nodes: pricing for the ACP 40 ranges from $5,000 to $9,700, the ACP 50 ranges from $6,550 to $15,600.
