The contracts are blanket purchase agreements and are known as Principal Resource for Information Management Enterprise-wide, or PRIME 3.2, contracts. The services under the deals include systems integration, project management, network management and security, data and voice communications, CRM and user service, and new technology analysis. Each deal carries a one-year base period and four one-year options.

The five lead vendors chosen include AT&T Government Solutions, Computer Sciences Corp, ManTech International Corp, Northrop Grumman Information Technology, and SRA International.

Each vendor has a dozen or so other companies on its team. For example, AT&T’s team includes SAIC International Corp and IBM, and CSC has partnered with DynCorp International and HP.

ManTech will be working with Microsoft, EDS, and Sprint, while Northrop’s team includes BearingPoint Inn and CACI Inc, and SAIC will work with CGI and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

In a statement, CSC estimated its overall share of the deal could reach $800m with all options.
