In return for supporting the non-profit trade association companies receive five individual memberships in /usr/group; the best locations at the UniForum Show; free advertising in /usr/group’s magazine CommUNIXations; listed as a sponsor in /usr/group publications; and a plaque indicating that the company is a corporate sponsor. There are now 36 firms and institutions involved in the programme.
