According to the companies, the new platform exposes processes traditionally hidden in legacy and workflow systems to optimize and execute them in a real-time environment. It also adds interoperability to company’s departments, systems and users, eliminating technical infrastructure considerations to enable insurers to focus on business goals.
Fiserv said it will combine its insurance products with Lombardi’s business process management (BPM) software TeamWorks to deliver what it claims is the first true BPM product designed specifically for the insurance industry.
