Under the agreement, signed in the fourth quarter of 2008, FirstCare will use Callidus On-Demand to automate compensation, which will reportedly provide the company with a single view into total compensation spend.

Callidus said that FirstCare now benefits from having a tool for aligning sales compensation with corporate business objectives across the entire enterprise to create pervasive performance management.

FirstCare will use Callidus On-Demand to process some 20,000 transactions a month while significantly enhancing its ability to strategically monitor overall broker performance, added Callidus.

Steve Abalos, vice president of sales at FirstCare, said: I am looking forward to having this tool to assist us with not only improving our monthly commission processes, but also enhancing our program with dashboards and reports we will submit to our valued producers. Our success stems around the continued efforts of our producers, so having the ability to effectively share performance reports, targeted group plans and bonus potential with them will show how much we value their commitment to our company.

Jeff Saling, vice president of Callidus On-Demand, said: In today’s economic climate having a strategic toolset that further expands the ability of a company to best manage sales performance and compensation is not only important but critical. We are pleased to welcome FirstCare to the ever-growing group of Callidus On-Demand customers who recognize the importance of this and see the significance of aligning incentive compensation with corporate strategy.
