First SSL VPNs get ICSA badges

ICSA Labs, the division of TruSecure Corp that tests and certifies data security products, will today announce the first wave of SSL-based and TLS-based virtual private network offerings to get its well-regarded certification.

By CBR Staff Writer

The products being certified are Aventail’s EX-1500, F5’s FirePass 1000 and 4000, Juniper’s NetScreen Secure Access, Netilla’s E-Class, NetScaler’s 9400 and PortWise’s PortWise mPVN, according to an Aventail spokesperson.

Cisco Systems, Nokia and Whale Communications are also listed charter members of ICSA’s SSL-TLS Product Developers’ Consortium, but will evidently not be included in this first round of certifications.
