FINNISH BANK ORDERS GEC PLESSEY TELECOMM’S ISDX

Finland has succumbed to GEC Plessey Telecommunications’ ISDX Integrated Services Digital Exchange PABX with Postbank, the third largest bank in Finland, ordering 13 to be installed in its Helsinki premises in a UKP1.4m deal: the contract was won by Nokia Data, which has a marketing contract with GEC Plessey, and is seen by the firm as a major coup in its bid to export to the continent.
