FINMECCANICA AND GEC CONFIRM JOINT VENTURE

Finmeccanica SpA and the General Electric Co Plc are to set up an equally owned joint venture (CI No 3,200) to work on missile systems, naval systems, ground-based radar command and control system. The companies will take minority stakes in some of their respective defense operations.
