FIBRONICS HAS ETHERNET BOARDS FOR GIGHUB INTELLIGENT SWITCHING HUB

Basingstoke, Hampshire company Fibronics UK Ltd has duly announced the availability of Ethernet distribution boards for its GigaHUB 12Gbps intelligent switching hub as promised last May. The new Ethernet interfaces connect to one of eight internal GigaHub Ethernet buses, offering flexible support for multi-segment networks, says the company. The LC342 and LC344 boards reportedly provide 12 or 24 10Base-T ports. The LC348 board is a universal Ethernet interface with four slots for extension modules supporting single or dual fibre optic, 10Base-2 Coax, 10Base-T and 10Base-5 AUI or DTE, says the company. The boards are out now but the company is not giving prices.
