The Blue&Me system, which has been in development since 2004, will allow Fiat owners to plug their communication and entertainment devices into the car and operate them via controls on the wheel.
Blue&Me is also likely to contain a new navigation system, weather and traffic forecasts and satellite location that can be triggered in cases of theft and emergency.
The two companies have so far refrained from giving too much away about Blue&Me, but Fiat is expected showcase the system at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.
