Memphis, Tennessee-based Federal Express Corp will soon offer a package called Business-Link to enable companies to use the Internet to buy and sell goods that would then be delivered by the courier. Businesses using the new service would be able to build their own sites in its central computer and promote their goods to other businesses on the Web; the service is available now to favored customers and follows throughout the US early next year. It will offer a range of integrated in formation, transport and logistics services, including order entry and confirmation, inventory management, transport, invoicing, after-sales service for returns or repairs.
