The British Facsimile Industry Consultative Committee is also warning fax users of a scam involving bogus fax directories: fraudulent invoices are being created by transposing the British Telecom entry onto a bogus form billing fax users for a new entry in one of the non-existent directories – entries in the British Telecom faxbook are free.
