At launch the service will offer users a comprehensive movie information service including reviews, showtimes, theater information and maps. More interestingly the service will alert users when tickets become available for movies and offer them the ability to purchase them using their mobile phone.
The companies say that future offerings may include movie-related wallpaper, ring tones, games and the possibility of bar-coded tickets on the mobile device.
