EZTakes launches worldwide DVD download service

EZTakes has launched a new version of its web store that enables consumers in almost any country to purchase, download and burn movies to recordable DVDs that will play in standard DVD players.

By CBR Staff Writer

Although EZTakes just completed beta testing of the new download-to-DVD service in September 2006, the company claims to have already experienced dramatic growth in sales and developed a loyal following of repeat customers.

With our growing catalog of over 1,500 feature-length films, we already offer many more titles than even the largest ‘bricks and mortar’ retail stores, and our ability to expand is not limited by physical shelf space, commented Jim Flynn, CEO of EZTakes. The launch of our global service has dramatically increased our reach by offering the convenience and flexibility of downloadable DVDs to literally hundreds of millions of people worldwide.

EZTakes’ catalog of downloadable DVDs includes feature-length films of all genres and supports both Windows and Macintosh users. The company claims that most EZTakes DVDs offer the same quality and all of the extra features of the original DVD.
