EXTECH SYSTEMS CHOOSES MERIDIAN CE TO PROVIDE COVER ON IBM 4341

Claiming a 40% reduction on IBM charges, the former data processing department of film developers Technicolour Ltd, Extech Systems Ltd, has chosen eight-month old Meridian Computer Engineering Ltd to provide full day-time cover on its IBM 4341 mainframe: West London-based Extech hopes that the combination of improved system reliability and reduced expenditure will enable low-cost applications development for IBM MS-DOS micros and compatibles.
