EXPERT SYSTEMS PRODUCTS TO CUT PRICE OF ITS INTERFERENCE ART

Ferranti International’s Expert Systems Products Group has decided to cut the price of its Inference ART automated reasoning tool by just under 50%; the UKP35,000 version designed for large workstations will now sell at UKP26,000, while the small workstation version – also currently priced at UKP35,000 – has been reduced to UKP17,500: the company has also announced an introductory price for ART on Sun Microsystems’ 4/110 and Texas Instruments’ MicroExplorer box of just UKP14,000.
